"Exploring Floral Beads" One Day Intermediate Class with Elise Strauss DATE: Sunday, April 18th, 2010 TIME: 10:00am to 6:30pm (incl. 1/2 hour lunch - class may run long so be prepared to stay late) COST: $175.00 (includes all supplies) - SOLD OUT Taking Names for a 2nd Class to schedule very soon - email Deb to be put on list. Requirements: Student must have at least 30 hours of experience on an oxygen/propane torch system. Must have a "Liability Waiver" on file with Glass Firenze Studio. Must be 18 years of age or must be accompanied by parent. Payment in full is necessary to register for this class.
This is an intermediate-level class that provides an overview of techniques to create beautiful flower beads. Students will create several distinct types of flower beads, incorporating the use of frit, encasing, canes, and learning basic petal and leaf-making techniques. This is a fun class and a great “building block” experience – you will be able to use the skills and techniques learned in this class and apply them to all types of beads!
