Encasement Workshop with Kim Fields.... Beginning to Intermediate Level One Day Course $282.50 Wish you could encase your floral or aquatic beads like Kim Fields or any of the other amazing artists you admire?? Well... here's your chance to learn from one of our communities best! Kim Fields is going to show you all the "tricks of the trade" to make beautiful, smooth, and consistent encased beads. Lucky Us!!
This one day class will focus solely on encasements (this is not a flowers class) and the various techniques used. Thin encasing, spot encasing, how to keep the components underneath your encasing from smearing (that thing we all struggle with)... By the end of this day you should be well on your way to understanding the in's and out's of encasement and applying them to your own designs.
All of Kim's workshops are designed to strengthen your skills as a beadmaker and assist you in achieving your own unique designs.

IF... you would like you may provide your own dipped mandrels with the release you prefer using. If you do bring your own mandrels please let me know so we can keep things separate. If you bring your own dipped mandrels and do not have success with them with these techniques, there will be studio dipped mandrels at your disposal. |
