~ Bead Making 101~

In this lots of fun 5 hour beginning bead making class with studio owner Deborah Spence, you will learn lampworking safety, equipment usage and how to make glass beads!

We will cover the proper construction of glass beads, plus stringer and twistie creation and usage.  We'll move into dot placement and bead decoration.  Each class is a little different because I take you in the direction that I find you are most interested in or that you've expressed an interest in before the class was reserved.   The class fee is $100.00 and includes all equipment and glass supplies plus eye protection.  I schedule classes upon demand so there is never a long wait once you've contact me.

I find that these classes are more fun when shared but I also like an intimate setting so the class maximum is 4 which allows for plenty of one on one instruction.  Most people are ready to Rent Torch Time and work on their own after this class so that they can immediately put into practice what they have learned.

After Beadmaking 101 I offer one on one instruction on a per hour basis for $20.00 per hour for that time when you are ready to take the next step in your beadmaking.  The fee includes torch time and glass supplies.

As with any use of the studio you must have a liability waiver on file with the studio before you can register for a class.  You may obtain this waiver by calling me at 726-1080 or emailing me through the "contact" page.

I really love teaching the joy of glass bead making and I look forward to meeting you and sharing this facinating art with you.

Til Then,
Be Well,
Deborah
