~ Studio Mandrel Use Policy ~ Open Torching: 3/32" studio mandrels are predipped and available at a cost of $2.50 for 10 or less and $5.00 for unlimited mandrel use per visit. Other sizes are available at the same cost but they may need to be dipped when you arrive. You are welcome to bring your own dipped mandrels to the studio for open torching and I carry a variety of bead release and mandrel supplies for sale. You can also earn mandrel credits by washing a mug of mandrels. One mug gets you four free 10+ mandrel visits. Classes and Workshops: Pre-dipped mandrels are included in the price for all classes and workshops. But you may prefer to bring your own dipped mandrels. I use a bead release that I have great success with but I find that people get used to their bead release and sometimes have difficulty with other brands. If you want to ensure your success in not breaking bead release at any class or workshop I recommend bringing your own mandrels. Special Events: The mandrel policy varies during special events and any special event notice should include information on mandrel use as to whether they are free, included in the fee, or will incur a charge. |
