~ Torch Time Online Reservations ~
Reservations are not required but help ensure a seat is available for you, or even that I will open that day:
I am very excited to introduce a new Online Reservation System for Torch Time! To help introduce and encourage you to use this online system anyone who makes torch time reservations via the online system will receive a 1-Buddy discount on your hourly torch time rate (or .25 cents off per hour) whether or not you come with a buddy! Reserve with a Buddy and you each receive a 2-Buddy discount (or .50 cents off per hour)! This is a limited time offer... I'm not sure how limited but at least through March 2010. :-) HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS: Click on the link below to take you to the reservation system. "First Time Users... Click to Register" Once you register you will be sent to your Control Panel From there you can begin! You can book a reservation, cancel a reservation and even email other users to "join" you. Notes: 1 - You may encounter some errors, most of the time what you were trying to do still happens. I am still working out the bugs so let me know what you encounter and I'll work to resolve it. 2 - The help segment of the program is not working but I've asked for help on help. ;-) 3 - You can only reserve online with at least 36 hours advance notice... this is to make sure I'm still planning to be open that day. I may reduce that window to 24 hours after the kinks are worked out. You can also only reserve two weeks in advance at this time. Again, this is set so I can work out the kinks of the program. I'll let you know if I change these settings. 4 - Once you register I will have to approve you for Resources so Register and return within 24 hours to start booking Reservations 5 - Reservations are by Torch so if you are the first person to reserve on that day you have 1st choice on which torch. I do reserve the right to move you to a different torch if necessary but I will try to keep you at the torch you requested. At the bottom of this page is a torch set-up schematic. 6 - You can reserve another torch for your Buddy under your log-in, just put a note in the "Summary" section noting who it is for. 7 - With this system I can cancel and/or adjust your reservations. I may use the cancel feature for instances where someone has booked in advance and I find I need to be closed that day. 8 - You no longer need to notify me via email. Once you make a torch time reservation the system emails me. :-) The same if you cancel it! Isn't that COOL!! lol 9 - Inviting "Participants"... this feature doesn't do exactly what we need but we can still use it. When you make your reservation you can go to the "Participant" tab and invite other users to join you which is basically a Buddy Invitation without having to email people through another action on your computer. They receive an email notification with an acceptance or decline link. Clicking on the acceptance or decline link Does Not set up the invited participant with a Torch Reservation. If accepting the invited person has to go in and schedule their own reservation for a torch on that date and time. But, by accepting or declining the invitation you notify the inviter that you will or will not be joining them as a torching buddy without having to email them separately. :-) There isn't a way for me to modify those email notifications at this time so it will all seem a bit computer impersonal... but if you use it, you accomplish your reservation and buddy invites all in one action. :-) To Start Click Below: SEATING CHART:
