~ Where To Find That?~
This section is for links to items that I have in the studio and customers ask me where they came from but I do not sell... at least not yet. Or, also for links to places I often direct people to for more information or inspiration.
Two Important Lampworking Links are LampworkEtc. and eBay Lampwork Listings...
At Lampwork Etc. you will find a great cache of information on everything from Safety, Techniques, Marketing, Sales... anything you can think of in the lampworking field. I highly recommend checking out the Garage Sale section for sales on used tools and equipment.
This is the link where U.S. Lampworkers list their beads for sale on eBay. It is a great place to browse while studying peoples work, plus you can see what colors are hot or how much people are selling their work for. :-)
For the most part the bead photography kit I have came from "Table Top Studios" and I see that they have a new and improved version which includes an instructional DVD. I added to my photography equipment from an eBay purchase but these kits are definitely the way to go!

For those who wonder what they can do with a "Hot Head" torch I always recommend they look at the work of Amber Van Meter of Naos Glass! I have a link to Amber's web site in "Artists Links" Here is a link to Amber's Bead Artists.org gallery.
(Pictures to be inserted later) If you are interested in knowing where I get my glass storage pieces there are two places. The larger containers are rain gutter spouts from Spenard Builders that I cut down with a mitre saw... Home Depot and Lowe's versions are very flimsey and don't hold the weight of the glass. SBS is the place to go. The smaller version is a plastic fencing rail that Cindy and her husband Jim find at Home Depot in the lower 48... I've yet to find them here in Alaska. You can order directly from them through their web site www.sunspotcreations.net . Very nice people and they are willing to ship Parcel Post to keep costs down. Even if they don't have any listed for sale on their web site just email them through their contact link and request pricing and such. Unless they're travelling they are happy to cut and ship per request.
